Water Reuse and Reclamation

Water is arguably our most precious resource that is facing increasing scarcity the world over. Recovering contaminated supplies or recovering and reusing wastewater is becoming increasingly prevalent to maximize the use of all water supplies

De Nora Technologies for Reuse and Reclamation

De Nora Technologies for Reuse and Reclamation

With more than 50 years’ experience across a range of applications and technologies, De Nora solutions are used to treat, recover and polish wastewater for continuous reuse.

Our renowned brands, such as DE NORA TETRA®, Capital Controls®, ClorTec®, UAT™ and UltraDynamics™, combined with our comprehensive aftersales offering, ensure that our customers are set to meet their legal treatment requirements, all while minimising their operating costs.

Our solutions for reusing and recovering wastewaters and contaminated sources focus on filtration and disinfection* as well as removal of dissolves solids (TDS) and Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs).  With our combination of technologies, we can help convert your difficult to treat waters for indirect potable reuse, aquifer recovery and recharge, and irrigation.

Aquifer Storage and Recovery

Increasingly, water is being treated and recovered for re-injection into groundwater sources that are stressed from overuse. This water needs to be treated to very high standards prior to injection. De Nora can help with filtration, disinfection, contaminants of emerging concern (CEC) and trace contaminant removal to treat and polish this water for reuse.

Groundwater Remediation

Contaminated ground water can be treated and recovered with the right technologies. De Nora technologies can help you remove dissolved solids and trace contaminants we well as difficult organic contaminants.

Treated Secondary Effluent

Wastewater can be treated for use in irrigation and other reuse applications. Depending on the quality of the water from the wastewater plant, simple media filtration and disinfection may be required. If additional treatment is needed, reverse osmosis is often employed. De Nora can provide top-of-the-line technology for all of these processes.

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) treatment systems are becoming increasingly common, particularly in arid regions where water resources are scarce. ZLD systems recover virtually all water from a waste stream and haul only solids from the treatment facility. Many steps are involved in the process, and vary depending on the waste stream. De Nora can provide many of the common components used in ZLD systems.
