Local communities & Supply chain
De Nora has always championed initiatives that reflect its values, from charitable projects to community engagement, with active participation from its workforce. Our ESG plan takes this further, strengthening partnerships with technical institutes and universities while deepening ties with local communities.
Sustainability runs through our entire supply chain. We strive to build a network that mirrors our ESG vision, leading by example across every link, from upholding human rights and protecting the environment to supporting suppliers in adopting conscious practices and fostering growth.

We actively support local communities by promoting and developing projects that make a real difference in the areas where we operate. In 2025, our teams around the world organized a variety of initiatives, including:
Italy - Collected Christmas boxes for local charities, offered free museum activities to foster children, funded a merit-based scholarship, and welcomed high school students for a PCTO program exploring ICT, chemistry, and business operations.
Japan - Safety & Cleaning Day with disaster simulations and accident prevention drills, reinforcing the shared importance of safety awareness across the workplace.
India - Donated school materials and technological tools to primary schools and orphanages, along with sports and physiotherapy equipment to support students with intellectual disabilities.
Brazil - Promoted mental and emotional well-being through initiatives such as a therapy dog visit, blood donation, and professional health guidance, and also turned team spirit into meaningful community impact by organizing a team-building activity where colleagues built bicycles and donated them to children.
China - Two memorable team-building experiences in China brought colleagues closer through a baseball match and cultural visit in Suzhou, and interactive games plus an environmental clean-up at Xueye Lake in Jinan.
Germany - Support was provided both to the daily clean-up campaign at the Alte Fasanerie in Hanau and to the finale of the Buchdurst summer reading initiative, which celebrated 43 young readers with an afternoon of games, recognition, and creativity.
Singapore - Supported the community by distributing groceries to around 200 families, demonstrating the power of collective care and local connection.
USA - Honored veterans by sponsoring wreaths placed on local graves, while employees also supported the local food bank through donations matched by the business.
