Direct replacement for asbestos and polymer modified diaphragms.
De Nora PMX® non-asbestos technology is a fluorinated polymer, chemically inert, with a very high degree of mechanical resilience. This non-carcinogenic, asbestos-based separator technology is applicable in existing plants with only minor modifications necessary to depositing systems.
Additionally, PMX technology provides:
Extension of the diaphragm cell lifetime- Extends the cells’ operating commercial life by over three years on average, with over 11 years of operating life demonstrated in plants that have implemented PMX®.
Efficient in situ regeneration technique which enables restoring original performance capabilities and offset the effects of operation.
