Green Hydrogen markets

DECODE Season 1 - Episode 9

11/28/2023 - 12.00 AM

Green hydrogen is a key element in the energy transition towards a sustainable future, based on the use of renewable energies to produce a clean and versatile fuel. Through water electrolysis, water is broken down into its elements, hydrogen and oxygen, without CO2 emissions, offering an innovative solution to reduce the carbon footprint of numerous industrial sectors and promote the adoption of more environmentally friendly processes.

At the heart of this supply chain are cutting-edge electrodes and technologies developed by De Nora, a global leader in the sector, which has achieved production capacities exceeding 2 GW of electrodes per year. These components are designed to optimize the energy efficiency of alkaline electrolysis, ensure maximum durability, and enable large-scale hydrogen production at competitive costs. De Nora is a key player in major international projects, such as the Saudi NEOM project, where its technologies enable the production of hundreds of tons of green hydrogen per day, contributing significantly to the reduction of global CO2 emissions.

Looking to the future, the development of green hydrogen requires a constant commitment to innovation and collaboration between businesses, institutions, and scientific communities. This technology represents not only a great opportunity for global decarbonization, but also a stimulus for sustainable economic growth and the creation of new energy markets.
Investing in and supporting the spread of green hydrogen means actively participating in a necessary change for a cleaner and more responsible world.
