Technology at a glance.

UV disinfection built for wastewater and water reuse.

Capital Controls® C3 Series UV systems deliver reliable disinfection for municipal wastewater and reuse applications, using low-pressure, high-output amalgam lamps validated from 35 to 80% UVT.

Capital Controls® C3 Series UV systems are validated and certified to USEPA UVDGM certified and California Title 22 standards. The equipment was designed using advanced computational fluid dynamics to achieve optimal hydraulic performance. With automated sleeve cleaning, minimal operator intervention and a compact footprint suited for retrofits, the C3 Series offers a simple, energy-efficient and highly validated UV solution for modern treatment plants.

HIGH-EFFICIENCY UV PERFORMANCE

Low-pressure, high-output amalgam lamps deliver strong disinfection with reduced energy use.

MODULAR & COMPACT DESIGN

Small-footprint racks fit existing channels and scale easily across new or retrofit installations.

VALIDATED

Bioassay tested for 35–80% UVT and fully validated for California Title 22 wastewater applications.

C3 Series UV reactors use low-pressure, high-output amalgam lamps arranged in open-channel configurations.

As wastewater flows evenly through each reactor thanks to the unique delta wing design, UV light penetrates the water and disrupts the DNA of microorganisms, preventing them from reproducing without the use of chemicals.

Each lamp is powered by high-efficiency electronic ballasts and protected inside a quartz sleeve that is automatically cleaned by a mechanical wiper system. UV intensity sensors verify dose delivery in real time, while automated controls adjust lamp output to maintain performance with lower energy consumption.

The modular rack design allows treatment plants to scale easily—from compact packaged systems to large municipal installations—while maintaining the same validated, third-party-tested performance across the entire system.
