De Nora expands its water disinfection technology portfolio through the acquisition of ChlorGuard

Milan, June 16, 2026 – Industrie De Nora, Industrie De Nora, an Italian multinational company listed on Euronext Milan and a global leader in electrochemistry, water treatment, and sustainable solutions, has announced the acquisition of the ChlorGuard division’s assets from UK-based PSI Global. ChlorGuard provides safety systems for the management of gases used in water treatment plants.

The transaction will enable De Nora to integrate ChlorGuard technologies into its Capital Controls® portfolio, which has been a benchmark for over 65 years in chlorine gas dosing and handling for municipal and industrial water treatment plants.

Through this acquisition, De Nora expands its portfolio with solutions focused on the safety, monitoring and containment of toxic gases, strengthening its ability to deliver integrated systems for their management in water treatment plants and in complex applications across sectors such as Oil & Gas and Pharma.

The integration of ChlorGuard technologies will enable De Nora to offer customers a more comprehensive portfolio, supporting safer infrastructures that meet increasingly stringent regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The transaction further strengthens De Nora’s position as a leading technology partner across the entire water cycle, supported by an offering that integrates process expertise, gas handling technologies, and advanced plant safety solutions.
