De Nora demonstrates commitment to sustainability

Global water solutions provider to showcase spectrum of capabilities at IFAT

05/05/2022 - 10.00

De Nora will attend the acclaimed IFAT trade fair May 30 to June 3 in Munich, Germany. The bi-annual event, which has attracted top minds from the water and wastewater industry for more than 50 years, will put climate action on the forefront with a focus on the sustainable use of resources. Through an interactive and engaging booth design, De Nora team members will showcase an evolving product portfolio that delivers unique solutions to solve today’s most critical water challenges.

“De Nora is always looking for opportunities to align ourselves with partners who share a mutual passion for technology and environment,” said Dr. Mirka Wilderer, CEO of De Nora Water Technologies. “Our company has been around for almost 100 years – more than 60 of those in water treatment – and while we know there is still plenty to learn, we also understand the importance of sharing the knowledge we’ve gained through tens of thousands of successful installations. We hope to bridge the distance between communities around the world facing similar water management obstacles and look forward to a productive exchange of ideas at IFAT.”

Last year, De Nora made a combined 22 developments within its product portfolio, including both new and modernized enhancements to existing technologies. These products, including several slated to be on display at IFAT, are proven solutions to modern water management practices, from treating contaminants of concern, traditional and emerging, to removing biological nutrients from wastewater discharge to protect local waterways. De Nora technologies are also paving the way for a greener future in energy. The company has developed and qualified a portfolio of electrodes and components to produce green hydrogen, which is crucial for the energy transition process.

Wilderer adds, “De Nora is proud to deliver trusted solutions that can be used alone, as well as combined with our other novel technologies to ensure we’re meeting needs on a case-by-case basis. We are always evolving to take care of communities around the globe and in doing so, hope to continue being recognized as the industry’s partner of choice.”

IFAT is hosted by Messe München, one of the largest trade fair companies worldwide, and attracts around 2,500 vendors and 150,000 industry professionals from water and wastewater, as well as waste and raw materials management. Attendees from more than 50 countries will gather for educational seminars, networking opportunities and live demonstrations over the course of five days. Visit ifat.de for registration details and the full schedule of events.
