Giovanni Toffoli

Born in Padua on March 6, 1968, he earned a degree in Business Administration from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 1991. After moving to the United States and gaining various professional experiences, he returned to Italy in 1996. In 1998, he joined Kappa Spa with the mandate to reorganize its operations; in 1999, he reached an agreement with the Tessenderlo Group to sell the Feed Phosphate division, thereby focusing the company's activities on the fertilizer sector. In 2000, operations were relocated to a new facility featuring state-of-the-art technology, and Adriatica Spa was established. He joined the Board of Directors of Adriatica Spa in 2004 and became its CEO in 2012, while also holding various positions within the group's subsidiaries. Since 2015, he has collaborated with COTAFI SA in the trading of fertilizers and iron ore. From 2018 to 2024, he served as President of Federchimica Assofertilizzanti.
