Gold Extraction With Electrochlorination

The use of cyanide has been conventionally used in the extraction of precious metals, but the toxicity of cyanide has forced several global mining jurisdictions to eliminate or reduce its use. Sodium hypochlorite solution produced on-site is the most economical and safe alternative.
