De Nora launches the 2024-2026 People Strategy

The Group introduces a holistic strategy aimed at fostering an inclusive and wellness-focused corporate culture, placing people at the core of growth and innovation. The initiative kicks off with InCLUDe, a three-day training program for over 80 managers in Italy, which will expand to 300 global leaders to promote inclusive leadership and transform company culture.

Milan, October 9, 2024 – Industrie De Nora, the Italian multinational specializing in electrochemistry and a leader in sustainable technologies and the emerging green hydrogen industry, is unveiling its 2024-2026 People Strategy. This innovative program is designed to unlock the potential of every employee and build an inclusive, wellness-oriented corporate culture. Under the acronym SuPERIOR (Sustainable, Productive, Engaging, Reputational, Intelligence-Oriented, Remunerative), the strategy aims to place people at the center of the company's growth, making them key players in a sustainable future and shared success.

Adopting a holistic perspective, the 2024-2026 People Strategy moves beyond traditional human resource management approaches. De Nora integrates wellness, personal fulfillment, and corporate performance in a vision where each individual contributes to a greater whole. Key goals include strengthening business partnerships by closely aligning employee development goals with corporate results; establishing effective communication that highlights employee stories; and fostering continuous engagement through monitoring and feedback tools to ensure everyone’s voice is heard and valued.

The program also embraces remote working, allowing employees and their managers to determine a balanced approach between work and personal life without imposing universal rules. Productivity is supported through new technologies, including AI, and continuous upskilling and reskilling programs to prepare the organization for future challenges. Additionally, De Nora stands out for its innovation in compensation policies, focusing on meritocracy, transparency, and personalized career paths to recognize and incentivize each employee's contributions. In line with its commitment to wellness, De Nora continues to invest in physical and mental health initiatives, parental support, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion to create an environment where everyone feels valued and part of a shared purpose.

Planned 2024 initiatives include inclusive leadership programs such as InCLUDe (Inclusive and Cohesive Leaders Unlock De Nora), an intensive three-day training course for over 80 directors and managers in Italy aimed at transforming the corporate culture by increasing emotional intelligence in people management. After the pilot phase in Italy, InCLUDe will be extended to over 300 managers worldwide, reinforcing the company's commitment to a cohesive and inclusive work environment. De Nora’s dedication is further evidenced by the issuance of a Group policy on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—a shared values manifesto to guide all corporate activities.

Through this new People Strategy, De Nora reaffirms its commitment to a future where people are central to growth and innovation, establishing itself as a model of inclusion and wellness in the corporate landscape.
