Adsorption and Trace Contaminant Removal

Arsenic, nitrate and other contaminants can be removed simply and easily with SORB Trace Contaminant Removal systems.  For more advanced treatment of organic contaminants and Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CEC) Advanced Oxidation (AOP) or Advanced Biological Filtration may be a great fit.  De Nora can help identify the best process for your needs.

Advanced Oxidation

Advanced Oxidation Processes produce highly energetic free radicals that can destroy a wide variety of difficult to remove organic contaminants by converting them to carbon dioxide and water.

Biofilm Control

If you are struggling with controlling biofilm in your distribution system, piping, or cooling tower loops, you need a stronger disinfectant that is capable of removing and controlling it.  De Nora has two ideal solutions.  MIOX systems produce Mixed Oxidants, which is a chlorine-based disinfectant proven to remove biofilm.  Chlorine Dioxide generators are another proven method to help with this tenacious issue.

Water Oxidation and Disinfection

Whether you need to oxidize iron, manganese and other contaminants, or you need to maintain chlorine residual for distribution system protection, De Nora has a full suite of products that provide the best combination of safety, effectiveness and whole life cost. 

Cooling Water Treatment

Maintaining cooling water quality is critical for optimizing process cooling and efficiency.  De Nora has a variety of chemistries installed in over 1000 towers throughout the world.  With that experience, we can help select the ideal solution for your system.

Filtration

Filtration to remove particulate or precipitated contaminants is critical to making clean water for drinking or process water.  For certain applications, the water needs to be treated further to remove TDS either for salt reduction or to produce particularly high quality water.  De Nora has a full selection of filtration components and reverse osmosis systems to complete your treatment process.

Intake and Process Water Treatment

Many industrial applications need to treat already treated "clean" water coming into the plant in order to take it to a higher level to ensure that it meets the high standards required for to the product being produced.  Commonly used in food or beverage production as well as other plants, this might include additional disinfection or additional filtration.  De Nora has the technology to help you condition your water to the highest standards needed for your product.

Instrumentation

Monitoring pH, temperature, chlorine residual and other parameters is often key to controlling your process or optimizing efficiency and performance.  MicroChem® systems  are available in multiple configurations for easy customization, and are simple to install, set up, and configure.
