De Nora mixed metal oxide anodes (MMO anodes) are largely applied for brass plating of steel wire. Anodes are shaped in strips allowing continuous electroplating of the cords, maximizing electrolyte circulation.  The steel cord is used as the reinforcement material in radial tire for auto, trucks, busses.
