De Nora MMO anodes protect pipelines, offshore structures, storage tanks, and steel-reinforced concrete structures.
A properly designed and maintained impressed current cathodic protection system (ICCP), using De Nora ELGARD® or LIDA® anodes, has proven to be a time-tested solution for extending the longevity of any steel structure.

Why chose De Nora anodes for corrosion prevention?
We offer several different Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) coatings and anode geometries for your specific application, whether in soil, sand, concrete or water environments. The ease of installation, customizable design, and product longevity all attribute to high cost efficiency.

ELGARD anodes protect steel-reinforced concrete structures from corrosion, and LIDA anodes are used for conventional cathodic protection. The LIDA and ELGARD Cathodic Protection (CP) anodes are available through an exclusive, global network of trusted distributors.

ELGARD® anodes for Concrete Cathodic Protection

ELGARD impressed current anodes for cathodic protection protect steel-reinforced concrete structures such as parking garages, roads, bridge decks, monuments, wharfs and pier structures.

ELGARD anodes are available in expanded mesh geometries. These anodes have been tested by independent labs to verify and ensure that they exceed the performance criteria per NACE TM0294 and ISO 19097-1.

Our anodes are the longest lasting on the global market with an expected design life exceeding 100 years of service in concrete. This is achieved by accurate quality control that is performed on each coating batch.

LIDA® anodes for Traditional Cathodic Protection

LIDA anodes are used to protect industrial steel structures, such as pipelines, underground storage tanks, above-ground storage tanks, locks, dams, offshore platforms, and water boxes.

Our anodes meet or exceed NACE standard TM0108 and are designed to protect for over 20 years.  LIDA anodes use Grade 1 or Grade 2 titanium substrate coated with our proprietary MMO coatings.  We offer a variety of geometries such as rod, wire, tube, ribbon, disks, or mesh to accommodate unique applications and specific needs.

Why De Nora is an industry leader and partner of choice in cathodic protection?
In addition to providing high-quality and long-lasting anodes for corrosion prevention, we also offer technical support (before, during and after installation) from multiple locations around the world. Wherever our customers are located, we can provide quick support.

De Nora’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles is deeply embedded in the design and deployment of our MMO anodes. By significantly extending the lifespan of metal and concrete structures, our anodes for cathodic protection help reduce the environmental impact associated with frequent replacements and repairs, promoting sustainable resource utilization. Our innovative technologies enhance the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure, thereby protecting communities and ecosystems from the adverse effects of corrosion-related failures.
